ALI Renews Push to Keep the Route 110 Corridor Moving

Action Long Island is renewing its long-standing call to keep the Route 110 corridor — Long Island’s busiest employment spine — moving. For decades, ALI’s Transportation Task Force has pressed for capacity improvements and service-road upgrades through the Melville corridor.

“The corridor carries tens of thousands of workers every day,” ALI leadership noted. “Getting people to and from work efficiently is an economic-development issue as much as a transportation one.”

ALI will continue to work with state and county partners to advance practical, fundable improvements that serve commuters and employers alike.
