- Formed the 110 Transportation Management Association to address traffic challenges on Route 110.
- Established the first day care program on Route 110.
- Coordinated a project with 7 school districts & 700 students to study Statehood for Long Island.
- Obtained agreement from Department of Transportation to widen LIE Service Roads.
- Implemented a transportation program on the 110 corridor together with MTA, LIRR, & LI Bus.
- Joined with New York State Department of Transportation to create LIE-HOV Lane Task Force.
- Changed the Employee Commute Options (ECO) Regulation from mandatory to voluntary along with The 110 Transportation Management Association.
- Forced LIPA to take over LILCO.
- Advocated successfully for the elimination of Centralized Vehicle Emission Testing Program on LI.
- Were instrumental in the opening of the HOV lane for regular traffic during non-peak hours.
