Action Long Island (ALI) had opposed the basic structure of the LIPA Reform Act (ACT) from its inception and continues to stand against it. The promises made by the proponents of the ACT ring hollow in the face of the proposed rate increases recommended by PSEG-LI. The Increases are an insult to the ratepayers of Long Island and will only continue to cause them to suffer even greater economic pain.
